Volunteer Positions:
Volunteers must live in our fire district to be considered.
Firefighter and Medic applications are available for pick up at 11646 Sullivan Rd. M-F 9-4. They can also be filled out and submitted online by going to our FORMS page.
Full time Firefighter/Operator positions:
- Fill out an application by either picking one up in our office 11646 Sullivan Rd. or online at the State Examiners Office.
- Take a Civil Service Exam. Places & dates of exams can be obtained by contacting the Municipal Fire / Police Civil Service Office; http://ose.louisiana.gov/
- Once you are selected you will then have pre-employment interviews and further testing.
